FAQs
Costs associated with developing a mobile app are dependent on multiple variables, including complexity of features, platforms (iOS, Android, or both), and development approach (native or cross-platform); basic applications are typically in the range of $10,000 to $25,000, while complex solutions with custom integrations or backend systems can often exceed $100,000. Consulting allows you to establish a realistic budget, and prioritize features so that you can eliminate any unnecessary costs for your business.
The time needed to develop a mobile app depends on the difficulty of the app. A basic or a simple app needs 2 to 3 months to develop. On the other hand, sophisticated mobile app solutions take 6 months or even more. This phase includes planning, design, development, testing and deployment. Above all, it is vital to keep in mind that a good quality app takes time. It should be checked, tested and refined to work perfectly on all devices!
It depends on your target audience because:
- iOS is great because you can target users who are ready to pay for high quality apps. It also offers a smoother user experience on many devices
- Android has a large market share. It offers more reach especially in Asia and Africa. These apps are more flexible because of features and customization.
Choosing the right platform depends on a number of things. These include target audience, business goals and budget! So, many businesses prefer to develop for both platforms to get more customers!
